BODY-SMOOTHING
APPLE POLISH


YOU’LL NEED:
1 overripe apple
1 cup sugar


Chop, then mash one large, overripe apple that is peeled and cored. Stir in one cup of sugar. In the shower, rub mixture on dry spots, such as elbows and heels. Rinse and follow with lotion. Malic and alpha hydroxyl acid found in apples and sugar are dead-cell sloughers.

GINGER AND BROWN
SUGAR BODY SCRUB


YOU’LL NEED:
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup olive oil
small amount of ginger


Mix two cups of brown sugar with one cup of olive oil and a small amount of ginger and mix well. Using circular motions, exfoliate your body and paying extra attention to rough areas.
Rinse with your favorite body wash or shower gel and towel dry.

RECIPES FOR THE FACE

PERFECT-YOUR-
COMPLEXION FACIAL

(normal to oily skin)

YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 cup cornmeal
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. honey
1 egg white
1 banana
1 Tbsp. avocado


Stir 1/2 cup of cornmeal and two tbsp. of milk into a paste, then use to gently scrub skin. Rinse, pat dry. Mix one tsp. honey and one egg white until blended. Apply mask to face and let it dry and then rinse. Mash one banana and one tbsp. avocado together and apply to skin and leave on for ten minutes. Rinse one last time and finish with a layer of your regular moisturizer. Pamper pores with banana that is full of cell-growth stimulating vitamin B and egg white which is an oil absorber.
OATMEAL FACE MASK
(sensitive skin)

YOU’LL NEED:
1 packet instant oatmeal

Mix a package of oatmeal with boiling water as directed on packet and let cool. Apply to face and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse well with warm water. This natural mask will produce a radiant and hydrant glow that makes you look like you just came from the spa.

SOOTHING EYE RELAXER

YOU’LL NEED:
2 chamomile tea bags

To soothe tired eyes, steep two chamomile tea bags and place in a bowl of cool water. Drain tea bags and apply to closed eyes for 15 minutes. The result is relaxed and refreshed eyes.
